leaping lemurs at the bronx zoo

With everything in the world turned upside down these days, it’s a bit comforting to know that in some parts of the animal kingdom, there is joy and friendship. Meet Vera, a brown-collared lemur, and her friend, ring-tailed lemur Katrina, who take turns grooming each other at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo Madagascar! exhibit. Both species are from the exotic African island of Madagascar and can be seen daily inside the zoo’s new permanent Madagascar! exhibit along with other members of their family.
