To commemorate the summer season, the Friends of Mosholu Parkland hosted its Summer Garden Festival on Saturday, June 22 at Mosholu Playground. The seasonal celebration featured guitar music, face painting, visioning of a new children’s planting garden that P.S. 8 school will be using with their classrooms, arts and crafts and some planting.

Skylar Wilson-Bey showed off her butterfly face paint design while she worked on planting.
