A long-term lease has been signed by a health pharmacy for retail space at the Triangle Plaza Hub, located at 459 E. 149th St. in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx.

Halo Health Pharmacy signed a lease for 1,522 square feet of the 50,000-square-foot grocery-anchored retail and medical office condominium. This marks Halo Health Pharmacy’s fifth location in New York City and its first in the Bronx.

The lease was signed with the real estate investment company Simone Development Companies. Their in-house leasing and legal teams assisted Miles Mahony and Chris Walther of RIPCO Real Estate in putting together and finalizing the transaction, with Mahony and Walther representing both the tenant and ownership.

“We are excited to welcome Halo Health Pharmacy to Triangle Plaza Hub, complementing and enhancing our already diverse tenant mix,” Simone Development Companies Vice President of Leasing Josh Gopan said.

Designed by Perkins Eastman Architects DPC and built in 2015, the Triangle Plaza Hub is a LEED-certified complex that features a healthcare and food-centric mix of tenants. Other tenants in the property include SuperFresh supermarket, Sun River Health, DaVita Melrose Dialysis, Metropolitan College of New York, Dunkin’ and more. Simone Development Companies bought the property in 2021 for approximately $32 million.

In addition to being located in an area with heavy foot and car traffic, the Triangle Plaza Hub is also situated within close proximity to the 149th Street subway station, which services the 2 and 5 trains. On-site parking is also available for tenants and customers, with 83 rooftop parking spaces.

There is still another 2,776 square-foot endcap space available for lease at the Triangle Plaza Hub. This highly desirable space was previously occupied by Boston Market.
