The Pelham Bay Bandits clinched 1st place with a double-header sweep over the Croton baseball team on Saturday, October 25. The hometown heroes finished with a franchise best 11-2 Fall League record in the Westchester Baseball League.

“We are still under construction, but we are moving in the right direction”, manager Dom Caggiano said, “The kids are having a great time!” Last fall, the Bandits record was 8-7.

And click they did, as the Bandits exploded for 26 runs in the doubleheader vs. Croton. The offensive stars were Joey Signore (5-7, 3 runs, 3 2B, HR, 7 RBI), Matt Flamio (4-6, 3 runs, grand slam, 6 RBI), Nicky Sciubba (3-5, 4 runs, 2 SB), John Liccese (3-6, 5 runs, 5 RBI) and Xavier Ruiz (3-7, 4 runs, 3 RBI).
