Bronx Community Solutions will be hosting its second annual December Community Event at the Kwame Ture Recreation Center, located at 1527 Jesup Ave., on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 3-6 p.m.
During the event, the center will be transformed into a hub for toys, coats and winter accessories. There will also be a picture station, holiday snacks and more. Additionally, resources will be available for the people that Bronx Community Solutions serves daily.
Bronx Community Solutions is a nonprofit organization that limits the impact of the criminal justice system by providing alternatives to jail, promoting equity, restoring relationships and creating safe and healthy communities.
The nonprofit and its members invite the Bronx community to connect and take part in justice conversations in an effort to assist those in need of a pathway forward.
