Marcus & Millichap, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale of a 21-unit apartment property located in the Bronx.
The property sold for $2.7 million.
“This was the last of a 5-property portfolio that was owned and operated by the same family since the early 1980s,” said Michael Fusco.
Fusco, Binyamin Katz, Joe Koicim and Seth Glasser, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a family run office. The buyer is a private investor and local neighborhood operator.
“The buyer is very optimistic in the Bronx and owns several other properties near this sub-market as well. This was a great deal for both the seller and buyer” said Katz and Glasser.
The asset is located at 160 W. 231st St.. The property is walking distance to the 1 subway line and Metro-North Station.
