41st PCT.

Tuesday, September. 1., 3:57 a.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1023 Rev. James Polite Avenue and arrived to find a 22-year old male unconscious and unresponsive after being shot in the head and torso. The victim was prnounced dead at Lincoln Hospital. A second victim also was also wounded.

42nd PCT.

Monday, August 31, 1:30 p.m.— Police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 957 Kelly Street, an upon arriving, found a 33-year old male shot in the buttocks. The victim was engaged in a verbal dispute with an adult male suspect, which escalated and led to the victim being shot before the suspect fled. As of press time, there are no arrests in reguards to this incident.

43rd PCT.

Wednesday, September. 2, 3:26 a.m. — Suspects broke into an vacant apartment at 1539 Watson Avenue. Once inside, the suspects cut a hole in the floor which was the ceiling of a deli below. The suspects entered the deli through the hole and then removed an undetermined amount of cash, baby formula and calling cards. The suspects then fled back through the hole and set the store on fire.

Monday, August 24, 2:00 a.m. — Suspects, described as two male blacks wearing masks, approached a 27-year-old male victim at 3571 E. Tremont Avenue and displayed firearms. The suspects removed the victim’s property: an iPad Air and iPhone 5, and more than $1,000 cash. The suspects then fled eastbound on Lafayette Avenue.

47th PCT.

Thursday, August 20, 3:45 p.m. — Suspects approached a 32-year-old male victim in the vicinity of 4617 Matilda Avenue and displayed firearms. The suspects ordered the victim to get inside his vehicle and then demanded cash from him as well as his cell phone. The suspects removed an LG cellphone and approximately $27 in cash from the victim and fled in a black car eastbound on E. 241st Street. Police believe this to be part of a larger robbery pattern in the Bronx.

48th PCT.

Sunday, July 12, 3:10 a.m. — Police are still seeking the public’s help in a robbery case that occurred two months ago on the southbound #2 train near East 180th Street and Morris Park Avenue. Three male suspects, two of which appeared to be in their teens or early 20s, approached a female on the train and demanded money while striking her. The suspects removed the victim’s Metro PCS cellphone, Safe Link cellphone, MetroCard, keys, $60 and fled. The two suspects were identified as male blacks wearing white T-shirts.

49th PCT.

Thursday, August 27, 10 a.m. — The suspect entered a grocery store, located at 716B Morris Park Avenue, where he engaged a dispute with a person therein. The suspect left the location only to return and stabbed the 24 year-old male in the back of the head and fled. The victim was removed to Jacobi Hospital where he was treated and released. The suspect is described as a black male with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt.

Monday, August 31, 8:30 a.m. — A 24-year-old male,who was walking up the stairs of University Woods Park, was approached by a robber who pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the victim’s head. Another suspect then took the victim’s wallet from his pocket, told him to unlock his phone and delete his iCloud. The suspect then removed the victim’s watch and ring. Both suspects then fled eastbound through the park toward Sedgwick Avenue.
