42 Precinct

Saturday, April 16, 2:29 p.m. — Four perpetrators approached at 12-year-old boy at Boston Road and East 172nd Street and punched him in the face. When he fell to the ground, they took his iPhone 6 from his pocket. The group of assailants fled on foot on Boston Road and then onto Charlotte Street. The victim suffered a cut to the mouth, and pain and swelling to his face. He was transported by ambulance to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Thursday, May 6, 6:58 p.m. — A murder occurred when a victim was shot in front of 1528 Hoe Avenue. An unknown perpetrator shot a 20-year-old man two times in his pelvis and once in his chest. The victim was initially transported by ambulance to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, but later died on Saturday, April 9 at Stony Brook Hospital. His death was ruled a homicide by a medical examiner.

43 Precinct

Sunday, March 27, 12:00 p.m. — A 32-year-old man became the victim of a robbery when two men assaulted him as he left his home. One of the perpetrators held a gun, while the second punched him in his face. They stole the man’s coat, which held a mobile phone and money.

47 Precinct

Wednesday, April, 27, 5:35 a.m. — Members of the NYPD Bronx Narcotics Squad, along with federal agents, executed an arrest warrant at 693 E. 236th Street. The person sought was taken into custody without incident. While they were outside the apartment building, members of the squad saw another man on a fire escape, and told him to go back into the building. When they went back upstairs to the apartment, and eventually got back inside, they looked out of the apartment’s fifth floor window onto a 21-year-old man, lying on the ground. The man died.

49 Precinct

Thursday, April 7, 3:05 p.m. — A 20-year-old man became the victim of a robbery in front of 2241 Holland Avenue. After being punched in the face, a suspect described as a male black who is 18-years-old to 20-years-old, took the victim’s iPhone from his pocket and fled.
