Thursday, July 7 at 10:15 a.m. — Two shoplifters were reported to an employee at a store at 1420 Metropolitan Avenue. The employee went to the shoplifters and asked if he could help them. When the employee approached the suspects, one ran out of the store with $700 in merchandise and the other proceed to assault him by punching him. Cops are looking for a black man about five feet, nine inches tall, weighing 140 pounds and last seen wearing black shorts, a white t-shirt and white sneakers. The second suspect is a black woman who is about five feet, ten inches tall with black dreadlock hair.

Monday, July 25 at 9:05 p.m — Cops are looking for someone who fired a gun at a moving car in a reckless endangerment case. A 26-year-old man was operating his vehicle near 401 Bronx River Avenue when he heard three shots fired. One of the bullets hit his driver’s side door on his car. Police describe the shooter as black man in his mid or late 20s, with a slim build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black sleeves and black pants.

46 Precinct

Tuesday, July 26 at 2:47 a.m. — Police got a report of a robbery of a 34-year-old man who was approached by multiple suspects near Andrews and West Tremont avenues and physically assaulted during a robbery. The suspects took $30 and a gold chain before fleeing on West Tremont Avenue. The victim refused medical attention.

48 Precinct

Thursday, July 2 at 11:19 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call about an unconscious person at 2000 Prospect Avenue. When they arrived on the scene, they found an unidentified person under a bed in a bedroom at that location. The person was pronounced dead on arrival by EMS.

52 Precinct

Tuesday, June 28 at 7:40 a.m. — A robbery was reported at an apartment on Morris Avenue. Three people — two men and one woman — entered a family’s apartment and threatened them with firearms before taking them to a bedroom and incapacitating them with zip-ties.

The suspects proceeded to look through the apartment and took $3900, a personal safe, and three cellular telephones. The male suspects are described as black men in their 30s. One is five feet, seven inches tall and weights about 150 pounds. The other man is about six feet tall and 200 pounds.
