43 Precinct

Monday, May 9 at 9:41 p.m. — There was a robbery and home invasion in an apartment near Ward and Watson avenues. Two suspects forced their way into a 48-year-old man’s apartment while a third waited outside in the building’s hallway acting as a lookout.

One of the two suspects inside of the apartment brandished a handgun and demanded property from four other people who were inside. When the two suspects proceeded further into the apartment, one of the victims ran out into the hallway and was shot at by the lookout, who missed. The three suspects then fled the scene. They are described as male Hispanics, all of medium height and roughly 18-years-old to 21-years-old.

44 Precinct

Wednesday, May 11 at 10:34 p.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of a man assaulted at 1521 Sheridan Avenue, but arrived to a murder crime scene. When they got to the location, cops found a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest, laying on the ground of the sixth floor hallway. His was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

45 Precinct

Friday, April 29 at 3:30 a.m. — Three burglars broke the glass door of a nail salon at 3425 E. Tremont Avenue and went inside. Once there, they stole money and a cash register. The salon was closed at the time of the burglary.

49 Precinct

Thursday, May 5 at 5:00 p.m. — A forcible touching incident occurred in Van Nest in the rear of 539 Van Nest Avenue when a 49-year-old woman was assaulted. The woman was approached from behind by a male Hispanic, 25-years-old to 30-years-old, of average height and weighing 180 pounds. The suspect placed his hands around her waist and then grabbed the victims breasts and genitals over her clothing. The suspect fled on Van Buren Street. He was wearing a black hooded sweater and black jeans, and carried a red backpack.
