Police Athletic League children, families, friends and supporters celebrated this year’s recipients of the Robert J. McGuire Scholarships on Wednesday, May 3 at the PAL Ptl. William A. Duncan Center in Manhattan.
The 11th annual awards ceremony highlighted the young scholars’ goals, achievements, hopes and dreams and applauded the efforts of these outstanding boys and girls.
The funds provide the winners with a monetary gift from PAL to help cover expenses from their freshman year of college.
