Senator Jeff Klein, Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, Councilman Andrew Cohen, the Lower East Side Ecology Center and Tekserve hosted an electronic waste recycling event on Sunday, July 24 at the Spuyten Duyvil Library. Riverdalians disposed of their unwanted and non-working computers, monitors, scanners, keyboards, computer accessories, televisions, video cassette recorders, phones and PDAs in an effort to ‘go green’.
