Housing lottery launches for 6-story residential building in Bedford Park, rent starts at $3,052

New York City has launched a housing lottery for a 6-story residential building in Bedford Park.

The building, located at 3178 Villa Ave., features 22 residences, with all but one available through the housing lottery for individuals earning 130% of the area median income.

Each of the designated units are studios, with a monthly rent of $3,052. Households of up to two people are eligible, provided their combined annual income falls between $104,640 and $161,590.

Amenities for residents include high-end kitchen appliances, countertops and finishes, energy-efficient appliances, split-unit heating and air-conditioning and intercommunication devices in each unit. The building is also equipped with an elevator, a shared laundry room and security cameras.

Prospective applicants must meet the housing and income size requirements in order to qualify for the lottery. New York City residents who apply will receive a general preference for the units. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online by Nov. 21.

Rise Architecture designed the residential building, while Yoel Mandel, under the 3178 Villa BSD LLC, developed it.
