Group of looters steal ATM from check cashing store on Claremont Parkway

Police are looking for a band of looters that broke into a check cashing store and stole its ATM earlier this month in the 42nd Precinct.

According to the NYPD, the group broke into the CFSC at 510 Claremont Pkwy. by smashing the front door’s glass and then forcibly removing the ATM which contained $12,500 in cash.

Cops said that the group fled in an unknown direction at about 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2.
