On Monday, October 5, Congressman Joe Crowley hosted the Italian Heritage Month Celebration at 1913 Bronxdale Avenue. The event, which celebrated Italian Heritage Month, also honored two community members, retired NYPD Detective Victor DiPierro and I.S. 61 principal Joseph Lisa, for their outstanding public service.
