Construction is beginning to wrap up on a 2-story logistics facility at 307 Bruckner Blvd. in Port Morris.
The completed structure will be 59 feet tall and cover approximately 100,000 square feet, including 46,000 square feet of covered fleet parking and storage on the ground floor, a 46,000 square-foot high-bay warehouse with heights reaching 36 feet tall and an 8,200 square-foot mezzanine with additional operation space, including four loading docks and two drive-in doors.
Other notable features for the facility will include Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) fire protection, 4,000 amps of power, LED lighting and high-speed freight elevator.
The structure has already been built, with the last work being performed being exterior work. The facility is on track to open sometime in the third quarter of 2026.
The property is within close proximity to the East 143rd Street-St. Mary’s Street and Cypress Avenue subway stations, which both provide service for the 6 train, and bus stops for the Bx17 and Bx33 lines.
AO Architects designed the logistics facility. It is being developed by the Sterling Organization.
