Happy 105th Birthday

Lena Luftig will be 105-years-young on Wednesday, October 7. Her daughter Marilyn Hausmen reports that Lena lives in Morris Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A celebration is planned for Lena on Sunday, October 11 with four generations of her family planning to attend.

Walt Disney Performance

Fancy Feet Dancers performed at Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney in July. They performed two 30-minute shows.

People stopped to watch and cheer them on. Several people even asked where the closest Fancy Feet was so they could register their children. It was such a proud moment for the students and their families.

Fancy Feet offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, gymnastics, pointe and mommy and me. They have a specialized program for children.

Their teen program is exactly what teens need in dance. Fancy Feet has organized Broadway styled recitals that entertains everyone. Their National Champion Dance Team has dominated the competition circuit.

Amber Angel Ortiz was born to Miguel and Grace Ortiz of Allerton on Wednesday, August 26.

Retirement

Lydia Campoamor. an associate director in the finance department at Jacobi Medical Center, is retiring from the hospital after a 32-years carreer.
