A shout out to Theresa Scuoppo, as she celebrates her 85th birthday on Saturday, April 2 and an additional shout out to both Theresa and her husband John, on their 63rd wedding anniversary on Monday, April 11.

Parish Book Signing
Sr. Louise Finn, who works at Villa Maria Academy, will be at the St. Helena Bookstore, 1315 Olmstead Avenue on Sunday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m. for a book signing of her latest book The Seed That Became A Garden: The Story of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys.
The paperback book is published by St. Pauls and will be available for $10, and
Sr. Finn will be present Sunday morning to autograph copies. They may make nice first Communion and Confirmation presents, as well as birthday and graduation gifts.
Competes For 2016
Miss Teen Title
Carlie Bonilla of the borough was recently selected to participate in the 2016 Miss Teen pageant competition which took place on Sunday, April 3.
Carlie learned of her acceptance into this year’s competition when the pageant announced their selections following interviews in the local area.
Carlie submitted an application and participated in her interview session conducted by this year’s New York Pageant coordinator.
