Young Kings & Queens Chess Club and BTW presented a two-day chess and basketball event on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25. Over 300 people attended Saturday’s semi-finals and over 400 people attended the championship game on Sunday including Senator Jamaal Bailey and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie. Over 95 men and women, ages 4 to 72-years-old, participated in the chess tournament.
The teams were eager to play.
