Tuesday, December 13 at 8:49 p.m. . — Cops responded to a call about a person shot inside 1018 E. 163rd Street in apartment 6E. They found a 26-year-old victim with a gunshot to the head. When EMS arrived on the scene, they pronounced the victim dead.

As part of a investigation, a 63-year-old man with a slash wound to his arm was placed in police custody after the discovery. He was taken to the hospital where he was in stable condition shortly after the incident.

42 Precinct

Wednesday, November 23 at 7:30 p.m. . — Police report that a church was burglarized. A man with a beard got inside the building home to the Fulton Avenue Church of God at 1346 Fulton Street by breaking a side door. He took a 50-inch television from the premises.

47 Precinct

Friday, December 2 at 1:00 p.m. — A black man who is about five feet, 11 inches tall and 175 pounds followed a women into an apartment building and abused her in what police describe as a forcible touching incident. The 24-year-old woman was followed into a building on Gun Hill Road where the perpetrator grabbed her buttocks. When she tried to get away from him, he followed her into a stairwell and exposed his penis.

Thursday, December 15 at 1:54 a.m. — Police received a 911 call about a man struck by a vehicle while he was changing a flat tire on his 2010 Mazda. Cops responded near exit 11 on the New England Thruway and found three men lying in the roadway area with injuries. EMS responded and took two 30-year-old men to Jacobi Hospital where they were in stable condition shortly after the incident. The 29-year-old, who was struck while changing the tire, was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary investigation indicated he was hit by a minivan driven by a 52-year-old man who remained on the scene.
