41 Precinct

Friday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. — An act of criminal mischief was reported in the precinct when police say two people took part in breaking a glass door pane at 911 Longwood Avenue. One of the pair threw a stick through a glass door at the location, shattering it. The suspects then fled on foot in different directions.

42 Precinct

Friday, March 10 at 11:30 a.m. — A robbery was recorded in the precinct when a black man entered into a dispute with a 23-year-old woman inside an apartment on Franklin Avenue. The man took a knife to the victim’s throat, taking her Samsung Galaxy cellphone. In the process, he assaulted her by punching her in the face several times. The victim refused medical attention.

43 Precinct

Thursday, March 16 at 7:07 p.m. – An 44-year-old EMT died when the ambulance that she and her partner were operating was nearly stolen. The victim was dragged under the moving ambulance, while her 30-year-old partner sustained injuries to her neck and shoulder. The 44-year-old woman, a mother of five, was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where she died. The ambulance had apparently been flagged down when traveling southbound on White Plains Road.

46 Precinct

Thursday, March 16 at 3:50 p.m. — A man was standing in front of 124 E. 183rd Street when he was seen shooting into a taxi on the opposite side of the street, hitting both passengers inside. The passengers, a 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both sustained gun shot wounds to their torso. Then the man, a black man between 30-years-old and 40-years-old, fired on a third person, a 28-year-old man who was inside of the location he was standing in front of.

52 Precinct

Friday, February 24 at 7:43 a.m.– A grand larceny was reported from inside of a clothing store at 2543 Webster Avenue. The victim, a 35-year-old woman, found that a wallet was missing from her purse, which she had placed in her shopping cart as she moved around the store. An investigation into the matter determined that an unidentified woman, a white or Hispanic woman, removed the victim’s wallet from her purse, which was open, as they rode in an elevator in the building. The wallet contained $445 and bank cards.
