Thursday, September 21 at 5:20 p.m. — A robbery was reported to cops near Washington Avenue and East 167th Street. A 12-year-old male victim was walking down the street when he was approached by two individuals. He was punched in the face and the two individuals then took a cellphone from his pocket. They fled the scene. The victim suffered swelling and bruising to his face and a finger. The two individuals are both described as black males who are between 13-years-old to 16-years old. Both individuals had dark complexions.

43 Precinct

Saturday, September 30 at 4:50 a.m. — Police received a 911 call of a unconscious man in front of 1317 Taylor Avenue. They found a 50-year-old man who was both unconscious and unknown to them. He had severe head trauma. EMS responded to the location and took the male to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

48 Precinct

Tuesday, September 5 at 10:43 p.m. — Cops got a report through the 911 system of a man assaulted near East 180th Street and Daly Avenue. They found a 21-year-old man who had a gunshot wound to the head. EMS took the man to St. Barnabas Hospital. At the hospital, the man expired.

52 Precinct

Saturday, September 30 at 3:35 p.m. — Cops responded to a report of a vehicle accident near 2325 University Avenue. When they got to the scene, police officers found a 27-year-old man with trauma to the head and body. They took the man to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An investigation found that the driver of a black Nissan Rouge, who remained on the scene, struck the man. The deceased man had been riding a motorcycle and was trying to make a U-turn when he was struck.
