Saturday, November 19 at 4:00 a.m. — Police responded to a shooting at 952 Longwood Avenue. According to police, a 38-year-old man was shot after a gunman opened fire on a crowded street. The person fired five shots. The victim had been running when he was hit in the back. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital by private means. No other injuries were reported.

Sunday, November 20 at 12:33 p.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside of 1058 Southern Boulevard. When cops arrived on the scene, they found a 19-year-old man who was not responsive. He had gunshot wounds to the torso and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

43 Precinct

Thursday, October 20 at 7:30 a.m. — Cops report that an unidentified woman approached a 44-year-old man, a victim of a police impersonation robbery. The incident took place at a bus stop in front of 1505 Westchester Avenue. The woman identified herself as a police officer before detaining and shoving the victim. She took $15 from his pocket. She is described as a black woman between 30-years-old and 40-years-old. She was five feet, five inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds.

Saturday, November 19 at 6:11 p.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call about a woman needing assistance. When they arrived on the scene, they found that 17-year-old woman had just given birth to a baby girl. The infant was unconscious and not responsive. The 17-year-old woman and the baby were taken to Jacobi Hospital. The baby was pronounced dead.

49 Precinct

Friday, October 14 at 7:15 a.m. — A grand larceny was reported at a deli located at 633 Allerton Avenue. The victim, a 25-year-old woman, had a Galaxy cellphone stolen out of her jacket pocket. The person who took it is described as a black man who is in his mid to late forties or early fifties.
