Thursday, May 25 at 3:50 p.m. — Cops received a report of a robbery of a 17-year-old woman near East 174th Street and Hoe Avenue. An Hispanic woman with muticolored hair struck-up a conversation with the victim before taking a red iPhone from her pocket and fleeing. The woman was last seen wearing a gray shirt, a black jacket and dark leggings.

Sunday, May 20 at 10:25 p.m. — A shooting was reported to cops as having taken place near East 161st Street and Morris Avenue. An individual described as a man with a slim build engaged the victim, an 18-year-old man, in a conversation. Then he shot him once in the chest. The person cops are looking for was last seen wearing white sneakers, dark colored jeans and a black hooded sweater.

Monday, March 5 at 2:15 a.m. — Cops got a report that a white man between the ages of 40-years-old and 55-years-old attempted to enter a church at 2730 Bruckner Boulevard by breaking the glass on a back-door and reaching inside. Before he could fully enter the church, he fled empty-handed.

Thursday, June 8 at 4:55 p.m.– Cops responded to a 911 call concerning a collision between a car and a motorcycle near East 179th Street and Arthur Avenue. When they got to the scene, they found a 47-year-old man who was unresponsive and had a trauma to his body. EMS responded and transported the man to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A preliminary investigation determined that the red Yamaha motorcycle was traveling northbound on Arthur Avenue when it struck the side of a Nissan sedan traveling west on East 179th Street. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, May 30 at 9:50 a.m. — Cops made in arrest in what was a pattern of three robberies. This third one occurred at coffee shop at 2200 White Plains Road. The individual approached a 27-year-old woman, an employee, with a gun and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied and opened the register. He reached over the counter and took about $300 in cash.
