Lotus Flame Restaurant hosted its second annual Bronx Phagwah Holi Mela on Sunday, March 19 near Castle Hill Little League.

The free event featured cultural programs by local artists, prayers, Tassa drumming and dancers and temple youth performing Chowtal and Holi songs and dances.

Phagwah or Holi is a festival of colors celebrating the coming of spring and the triumph of good over evil.
