Deceased local historian and longtime Bronx Times Reporter columnist Bill Twomey’s family met with Councilman James Vacca at New York City Hall to celebrate a bill signing for a street co-naming in his honor. Councilman Vacca welcomed the Twomey family to the event. A street near Twomey’s home in Throggs Neck will bear his name in honor of his memory, likely in the spring of 2016.
