Williams’ one-hour HBO Vice documentary about the people affected by the juvenile justice system takes viewers inside detention facilities, where Williams (Omar Little in The Wire and Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire) speaks directly with juveniles about their pathways into the system. The documentary also includes Michael’s nephew, Dominic DuPont, who shares his own lived experience with incarceration and systemic impact. The screening will be followed by a Q&A discussion facilitated by Dominic DuPont alongside Khalil Cumberbatch. Together, they will guide an honest and reflective conversation on the film’s themes, resilience, identity and the long-term effects of institutional systems, while offering personal insight into the stories behind the film.
