City Island Sail and Power Squadron (Americas Boating Club) and the Leonard Hawkins American Legion Post 156 commemorated the annual Blessing of the Fleet on Sunday, June 23 at Fenton Marine dock. Clergy members from St. Mary Star of the Sea, Temple Beth-El/Shul by the Sea, Grace Episcopal Church and Trinity United Methodist Church helped bless 70 boats of all shapes and sizes to kick off the boating season and ensure a safe voyage.
