Bally’s Links at Ferry Point Park was the setting for a recent junior golf clinic for the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club, sponsored by Bally’s, Webster Bank and the Metropolitan Golf Association.

Children from the 105-year-old nonprofit serving the communities of the east Bronx joined golf professionals at Ferry Point to get an introduction to golf and learn the ins and outs of the game. The clinics have been held weekly at the award-winning Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point, the 18-hole links-style public course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

“The MGA is thrilled to partner with Bally’s, Webster Bank, and Boys and Girls Club of Kips Bay to provide golf opportunities for juniors in the local Bronx community,” said Kim Braham, MGA Chief Administrative Officer. “Together, we are making a positive impact in our community!”

The clinics are part of Bally’s commitment to ensuring that the Bronx community is a strong partner to the tournament level public facility next to the iconic Bronx Whitestone Bridge.

“The kids are so enthusiastic about their introduction to the game, and it’s just a pleasure to work with them and feel that strong connection to the Bronx community,” said Brian Crowell, PGA professional and General Manager at Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point.
