AARP hosted a forum for city council candidates competing for open seats in the 13th and 18th Council districts on Wednesday, September 6 at Maestro’s Caterers.
Representing the 13th Council District were Republican candidate John Cerini and Democratic candidates Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj, John Doyle, Egidio Sementilli, Victor Ortiz and Marjorie Velazquez.
Representing the 18th Council District were Democratic hopefuls Amanda Farias, Elvin Garcia and Michael Beltzer.
Not present were 13th Council District Independent candidate Alex Gomez and 18th Council District Democratic candidates Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr. and William Moore.
