Throggs Neck came together to commemorate 9/11’s 16th anniversary with the annual sunset memorial service near Engine 72 on East Tremont Avenue.

As the sun set on Monday, September 11, local elected officials, community leaders, families and friends of the deceased offered prayers and laid flowers on a monument honoring Throggs Neck residents who perished in the terrorist attacks 16 years ago.
