42nd PCT.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 10:40 p.m. — Suspects entered 975 Brook Avenue by breaking the window, and once inside removed an undetermined amount of money. The suspects then fled the location. The unknown suspects are described as three male blacks.

44th PCT.

Tuesday, August 25, 10:20 p.m.. — An unknown male suspect entered a bodega located at 66 E.161st Street and removed two bags of chips and two bottles of soda without paying. The suspect then fled to parts unknown.

Monday, Sept. 21., 5:50 a.m. —A male Hispanic is wanted in connection with a robbery that took place in front of 154 E. 170th Street. The suspect approached the 69-year-old female victim, assaulted her and fled on foot with her handbag containing $125, a cell phone and credit cards.

He is described by police as an Hispanic male, 5’11” tall and 180 pounds.

45th PCT.

Tuesday, September 22, 2015 — Police made an arrest in a hit and run that left a woman dead on City Island. The collision between the motorist and a woman on a bicycle occurred on Friday, September 11 at City Island Bridge and City Island Avenue at 11:46 p.m., leaving a 27-year old woman dead. The suspect driving the car turned himself into authorities. Police released his name and address: Michael Moreno, 25, of Stormy, NY. The charges are manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death.

48th PCT.

Saturday, September 19, 8:15 p.m. — During a dispute in front of a residence on Briggs Avenue, a suspect displayed a firearm and shot a 27-year-old male victim three times in his torso. The suspect fled on Hughes Avenue to parts unknown. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital. The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, medium build, and two long braids. He was seen wearing a baseball cap.

Wednesday, Sept. 23 — Police made an arrest in homicide that occurred in the vicinity of East 189 Street and Beaumont Avenue in the early morning of Monday, September 21. Cops had responded to a 911 call at that location and found a 39-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his head.

The victim was seated in a green Lincoln Town Car. EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

On Wednesday, police arrested Nicolas Sanchez, 24. He is charged with murder, aggravated manslaughter, attempted robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon.

52th PCT.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 2:49 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call regarding a male shot at East 194th Street and Briggs Avenue. Upon arrival, police found a 24-year-old male on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot in the torso. EMS responded to the location and transported the male in critical condition to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
