Local youth brought in their favorite stuffed animals for a ‘checkup’ with Montefiore doctors and nurses at the 12th annual Teddy Bear Hospital.
In addition to the stuffed animal checkup, the children and their families also got to tour a real ambulance, visit a mock emergency department, receive an X-ray of their teddy bear, and learn important health and safety tips from NYPD, FDNY, NYC Department of Transportation, NYC Poison Control Center, Montefiore Lead Poisoning Program and more.
