Senator Jeff Klein honored local community leaders and the over 350-year history of Jewish contributions to American society and culture at his second annual Jewish Heritage Celebration on Sunday, May 22 at the Riverdale Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Association. This year’s outstanding leaders included Sylvia Lask, Jacobi Medical Center Community Advisory Board special events chairwoman; Richard Romanoff, Nebraskaland founder and president; Robert Rubenstein, Esq., Riverdale Senior Services board member and Andy Wolf, publisher and editor for the Riverdale Review.
