The Home Care Association of New York State presented a ‘Caring Award’ to Jeffrey Duarte, United Odd Fellows-Rebekah Long Term Home Health Care Program and Certified Home Health Agency operations manager, on Thursday, May 12. At only 24-years-old, Duarte worked his way up in just two years to become manger of operations and he serves as finance manager, translator for Spanish-speaking clients, counselor for loved ones coping with a client’s difficult long-term care needs and advocates for keeping home care clients safe at home.
