Fifteen years later, Bronxites showed they haven’t forgotten the tragic events and victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. On Sunday, September 11, Jacobi Medical Center hosted its annual morning memorial service at the permanent 9/11 Memorial on its Pelham Parkway campus. The memorial featured a moment of silence, prayers and the ceremonial laying of flowers at the memorial listing the names of Bronxites who perished in the World Trade Center attacks.

Joseph Menta (2nd from r), Rosa Maria Sampedro (1st from r) and others remembered the fallen during a moment of silence.
