On Thursday, June 5, Gibson celebrated Puerto Rican pride by holding the second Annual Puerto Rico Flag Raising Ceremony at Bronx Borough Hall. The ceremony, held in partnership with the National Puerto Rican Day Parade and Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade, Inc., brought together community leaders, cultural advocates and Bronx residents to honor Puerto Rican culture and heritage.
