2 Killed In Parkchester Apartment Fire

Two people lost their lives in an early Saturday morning apartment fire in Parkchester.

According to the FDNY, a fire broke out at 1970 E. Tremont Avenue on Saturday, September 30 at 1 a.m., killing two people and injuring several more.

Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered the two unresponsive men who were pronounced dead at the scene.

Fire marshals are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
