A fire raged at the Stevenson Commons last week. According to the FDNY, on Thursday, November 17 at 9:50 a.m., a residential high rise fire broke out on the third floor of the 24-story Stevenson Commons on 1880 Lafayette Avenue. Firefighters were able to gain control over the blaze at 10:46 a.m. One person was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The fire remains under investigation as of press time.
