Sixteen young New Yorkers, mostly from the Bronx, graduated from the Woodlawn Cemetery Preservation Training Program on Wednesday, August 31 at the Woodlawn Cemetery’s Matthew C.D. Borden Memorial. The 14 men and two women have nearly completed a paid training program to learn the specialized trade of masonry restoration for historic preservation.
