NYC Parks: GaGa Ball Extravaganza

Friday, July 19, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Ben Abrams Playground

Free

All are welcome to join NYC Parks in playing GaGa Ball, a game of dodging, striking, running and jumping in an octagonal pit with a soft foam ball. This event is best for kids. No registration is necessary for this game. Located at Ben Abrams Park, GaGa Ball will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday.

New York Road Runners Open Runs

Saturday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to noon

Soundview Park and St. Mary’s Park

Free

New York Road Runners offers free, community-led 5K runs in neighborhood parks throughout New York City. Runners have the option of running at either Soundview Park or St. Mary’s Park in the Bronx. Runners of all levels are welcome to join and no pre-registration is required.
