Senator Jeff Klein; NYS Homes and Community Renewal president of Finance and Development Marian Zucker; Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, Councilman Andrew Cohen and the development team of Selfhelp Community Services, Broadway Mosholu LLC and Urban Builders Collaborative LLC celebrated the grand opening of Van Cortlandt Green on Friday, February 3 at 6469 Broadway. The 11-story affordable senior independent living housing development contains 85 studio apartments, one 2-bedroom super’s unit, a rooftop community room, adjoining terrace, laundry facilities and on-site parking. Van Cortlandt Green was designed by Dattner Architects, built by Lettire Construction Corporation and is served by property manager Bronx Pro Management Group.
