Over 120 volunteers from ASEZ (Save the Earth from A to Z) joined Assemblywoman Karines Reyes, Lehman College students and 43rd Precinct police officers in revitalizing a one-mile stretch along Randall Avenue in Castle Hill and collected 400 bags of trash on Sunday, August 18. Continuing efforts to promote a cleaner and safer environment for the community, ASEZ is actively carrying out environmental cleanups with its worldwide crime prevention campaign, ‘Reduce Crime Together.’

The median was cleaned by volunteers during the event.
The volunteers bagged wilted plants and branches as they revitalized the median.
The volunteers raked up leaves and branches on the median.
Volunteers and law enforcement members helped spruce up Randall Avenue.
The volunteers helped removed litter and invasive plants.
