LeAp students create artwork out of cafeteria tables

Learning Through an Expanded Arts Program participants at two borough middle schools, I.S. 219 in Morrisania and M.S. 244 in Kingsbridge, showcased their own artwork about issues confronting youth. The works were displayed at two parks on Wednesday, June 10. The artpieces were painted on school lunchroom tables. M.S. 244’s table dealt with the theme of bullying and was displayed in Old Fort Four Park and I.S.219’s dealt with gun violence and was displayed in Crotona Park
