Bronx families and their children got into the summer spirit by competing in City Parks Foundation’s ‘Get Up and Go! Family Adventure Race’ on Saturday, August 6 at St. Mary’s Park. The exciting, parent-child race combined basic exercises and sports skills, took place at the Mott Haven park’s course featuring 12 activity stations. Additional sports activities included javelin throwing, jump rope, basketball free throw, hurdles and a mini climbing wall.
