Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda and Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr.’s annual district spelling was a major S-U-C-C-E-S-S on Saturday, March 11 at Stevenson High School.
The academic celebration featured the top winner from each grade receiving $500 in cash and $500 for the 529 NYS College Savings Fund and trophies.
All participants received congratulatory certificates.
The spelling bee was made possible through the support of Affinity Healthcare Plan, Parkchester Medical, Khan’s Tutorial, the United Federation of Teachers and Democrats for Educational Reform.
