Councilman Mark Gjonaj was proud to support a fundraiser for police officer Manny Vargas, a highly decorated and 23-year veteran, currently assigned to 49th Precinct.
Vargas is currently hospitalized, fighting a rare form of brain cancer that he contracted while working at Ground Zero.
