Saturday, June 18, 3:27 a.m. — Cops were alerted to a report of two men shot in the leg in front of 1041 Tiffany Street. When they arrived on the scene, they found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso and a 17-year-old man with bullet wounds to the leg, arm and stomach. The 17-year-old died, while the 21-year-old was in brought to the hospital in critical condition.

43 Precinct

Tuesday, June 23, 9:05 a.m.– A bank robbery in Parkchester was reported to police in police. Two suspects entered the J.P. Morgan Chase bank at 1489 Metropolitan Avenue, approached a teller and handed over a note demanding cash. The second suspect told the teller not to press the hold up button and threatened to use a gun when the teller did not comply. No gun was visible. The suspects both fled the scene empty handed, with one getting into a sport utility vehicle and driving off.

45 Precinct

Sunday, June 12, 7:35 p.m. — On a sidewalk opposite 1430 St. Peter’s Avenue a man approached a 22-year-old victim and shot him one time in the head. The unknown male suspect was described as wearing glasses, a blue hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and black-and-white sneakers. He fled on Trapman Avenue and Roland Street. The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center.

Thursday, June 23, 4:28 p.m. — Cops responded to a rescue call in Co-op City and found an elderly man dead at 120 Bellamy Loop. Upon arriving at the scene, an 83-year-old man was found in an apartment lying unconscious and unresponsive with a number of lacerations to a torso. EMS pronounced the victim dead while at the scene.

49 Precinct

Sunday, June 2, 3:00 p.m. — Cops in the precinct were looking for a ‘special missing person’ when a 14-year-old girl was reported lost. She was last seen near 2170 White Plains Road. The missing young lady is described as Hispanic girl, five feet and three inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
