Friday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. — A robbery occurred when a 28-year-old woman was inside of an apartment building near 3rd Avenue and East 143rd Street when she was approached by two unknown people. As her elevator reached the lobby, one of the individuals assaulted her and took her purse. Both of the people then left the building. The victim refused medical attention.

42 Precinct

Thursday, September 15 at 3:26 p.m. — A grand larceny was reported after a 61-year-old man left $9,500 on the car seat of a vehicle that was being repaired at tire shop at 3521 3rd Avenue. The car door had been unlocked and the victim had left the car unattended. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

43 Precinct

Wednesday, September 14 at 5:45 a.m. — An 84-year-old woman got a purse snatched from her shoulder as she sat on the bench of a bus stop near 1635 E. 174th Street. The suspect who took the purse ran into the suspect then ran into 1630 E. 174th Street where a second suspect held the door open for him. Both men got into the elevator and fled further into the building.

49 Precinct

Friday, September 9 at 2:50 a.m. — Cops received a report of a robbery in front of 2505 Barker Avenue. The victim was walking between two cars parked in front of the building when the suspect struck him in the right side of the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then took the victim’s wallet from a front pants pocket and then feld the scene. The suspect was removed to Jacobi Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries. Cops are looking for a 26-year-old man named Remington Soler in connection with the incident.
