45 Precinct

Monday, November 12 at 2:45 p.m — Cops received a report about a grand larceny that occurred aboard a Bx40 bus. Two individuals poured an unknown liquid on the back of the victim’s head while she rode the bus. When the bus stopped at East Tremont and St. Peter’s avenues, one of the individuals grabbed her purse while she cleaned the substance off her head. The individuals fled on foot on St. Peter’s Avenue. There were two credit cards and $60 in cash in the purse.

Tuesday, December 4 at 3:59 p.m. — Police received a 911 call requesting a wellness check for 336 Revere Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, the officers gained entry to a ground floor apartment where they discovered two unconscious and unresponsive people: a 34-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man. Neither had any visible signs of trauma. EMS also responded to the scene, where they pronounced both people dead. The NYC Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. A police investigation is ongoing as of press time.

46 Precinct

Sunday, December 2 at 3:10 a.m. — Cops received a report of a robbery that took place in front of 60 West 183rd Street. An individual described as a Hispanic man of average height and weighing about 160 pounds, briefly engaged the victim in a conversation before assaulting him and taking his property. The victim was punched and kicked in the face during the attack, and afterwards was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The victim suffered trauma to the neck and head. The individual was last seen wearing a red coat, gray baseball cap, a gray sweat suit and white sneakers.

48 Precinct

Friday, November 2 at 10:25 p.m. — A menacing incident was reported to cops near 3rd Avenue and East Fordham Road. A black man exited a Bx15 bus through the rear doors and then walked to the front of the bus where the doors were still open. The individual told the bus driver he had something to show him, and then raised his shirt to reveal a handgun in his pants waistband. The 38-year-old bus driver shut the doors and drove away. The individual is described as having a mustache, long sideburns and black hair.

Police are seeking to interview this individual concerning an incident in the 46th Precinct on Sunday, December 2.

Sunday, December 2 at 5 p.m. — Police received a report of an unidentified individual who entered C & S Value Store at 2377 Arthur Avenue and took merchandise before walking out of the store without paying. When a 44-year-old man, an employee of the store, attempted to question him, he was threatened by the individual with a knife. The individual is described as a Hispanic man with a light complexion who is about 30-years-old. He was last seen wearing black glasses, a black jacket, a red hooded sweatshirt, multi-colored jogging pants and white shoes.

50 Precinct

Saturday, December 1 at 11:37 a.m. — Cops investigated a fatal traffic accident. Police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious woman at Riverdale Avenue and West 263rd Street. Upon arriving, they discovered an 89-year-old woman unresponsive in the roadway with body and leg trauma. The woman was transported by ambulances to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she passed away. An investigation revealed the woman was crossing Riverdale Avenue when a 35-year-old woman driving a GMC Terrain made a left turn and struck the pedestrian. The investigation was ongoing as of press time by the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad.
